On 24 June 2024, the Foundation’s financial statements for the year 2023 have been finalized.

On 4 June 2024, Airbus, its responsible executives and auditor filed their statements of defense and some of them appealed against certain parts of the judgment in first instance. The Foundation has until 24 September 2024 to respond to the grounds of appeal raised by the defendants.

On 26 March 2024, Stichting Investor Loss Compensation filed its statement of grounds of appeal with the Court of Appeal in The Hague. This document sets out the reasons why the judgment in first instance cannot stand.

Following the judgment in first instance, Stichting Investor Loss Compensation deemed it prudent to modify the composition of the Supervisory Board.

In its judgment of 20 September 2023, the District Court of The Hague identified shortcomings in the governance of Stichting Investor Loss Compensation. In response, the Foundation has amended its articles of association align them more closely with the Claim Code 2019. The new articles, among other things, clarify the role of the Supervisory Board. They can be accessed on the Foundation’s website.

On 19 December 2023, Stichting Investor Loss Compensation filed an appeal against the judgment of the District Court of The Hague of 20 September 2023.

On 20 September 2023, the District Court of The Hague handed down its judgment in the collective action against Airbus, its responsible executives and auditors. The action was initiated by Stichting Investor Loss Compensation on behalf of institutional and retail investors to recover losses incurred as a result of Airbus’ involvement in bribery and misconduct. The losses amount to more than EUR 300 million.

Today we attended Airbus’ Annual General Meeting and asked questions in relation to the company's follow up on the settlements with the UK SFO, the French PNF and the U.S. Department of Justice. The finality of the settlements with these three prosecuting agencies is contingent upon Airbus' fulfilment of an extensive programme aimed at prevention.
